 Community First Bank was founded on May 10, 1999. A group of local business people felt there was a need to form a local community bank for Iberia Parish. The Bank started with 12 local community bankers, all who live in and support Iberia Parish. The bank started in a modular doublewide unit. In 2003, an 8500 square foot permanent home opened. That same year a second convenient location was opened on the north side of Iberia Parish. In the fall of 2004, Community First opened its third location on Albertson Parkway in Broussard. In the spring of 2007, Community First opened its fourth location on East Milton Avenue in Youngsville. Besides the branch locations, the bank has four additional ATM locations to better serve its customers. Community First emphasizes on providing the best personal service for its customers. Products are also a key in the success of the bank. Innovative products such as check imaging, interactive voice response and internet banking are just a few of those products offered at Community First. We also offer deposits and loan products tailored to fit the needs of personal accounts to large corporate accounts.
